Hey bro, love love love your music and reactions mate. 6-8 months ago your sbx kickback compilation popped up on my YouTube feed, I watched it 10 times in a row, and have been hooked on beatboxing ever since!
I thought I’d show my 7 year old daughter a few months in to see what she thought and now she’s as hooked as I am 🤣 she knows all the lyrics (her favourite line i think is ‘NOW KICK HIM!’ in the Rythmind battle 🤣), when the drops are about to hit and makes similar sounds when when she remembers the ones that stick out to her.
We have slowly started learning how to beatbox together and its so awesome hearing her practising when she is playing or colouring or whatever. You’re her fav artist obviously and her favourite vid is your gbb19 compilation. Always joins in with the DDDDDDLLLLOOOOWWWW!! 🤣
My daughter, Grace, lives with her mum but I see her every weekend and last week she came over and had learnt to do clicks with a melody at the same time! So rapt for her. She’s abit hard on herself though and if she can’t pick up a sound quickly I have to remind her we all have to start at the beginning and the basics, even dlow, and ‘Practice, practice practice’ is the key.
We are not paid subscribers yet as times are pretty tough financially but we will be soon as we try to catch your live streams if the timings right as we live in Australia. I understand this is a long shot but if there’s any chance you could comment on here giving her any words of advice or just a short inspiring message so she keeps practising at her mums when I’m not around, that would leave a smile on her face for a few days I’d reckon and you never know, she could be up onstage one day 😁 no love lost if you don’t though brother as im sure you’d get requests for stuff all the time. Hopefully we get to see you live one day in whatever part of the world aswell.
